Organizers

The Cyprus Association of Civil Engineers, after the successful organization of five International Conferences on Construction Safety and Health since 2009, organizes the Sixth International Construction Safety and Health Conference and Exhibition of Equipment and Services on “Vision Zero: Invest in Prevention. PLAN AHEAD” which will take place on the 10th and 11th of May, 2019 at Filoxenia Conference Centre, Nicosia, Cyprus.

 

The Conference will be held in co-organisation with the German Institute for Social Security and Accident Prevention in Construction Sector (BG BAU) and the support of the International Social Security Association, Construction Sector (ISSA C) and the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber. The Minister of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance (MLWSI) of Cyprus has set the Conference under her auspices and she will address it. Moreover, the Department of Labour Inspection of the MLWSI supports it.

Speakers

Distinguished experts, scientists and professionals in safety and health issues from various countries of the world will participate.

 

We have the honour to announce that BG BAU CEO, Mr. Klaus Bergmann, will be our Key Note speaker. His speech will focus on the topic of Prevention with the title: "You Invest- Prevention Pays".

 

The Conference is a unique opportunity for professionals in the construction sector and associated services as well as for the occupational safely and health experts and consultants to be informed on effective methods, practices, modern equipment and technology developments for safe execution of projects.

Exhibition

Suppliers of Specialized Work Equipment and Personal Protective Equipment will exhibit innovative products and practical solutions.

 

Companies and organisations providing training as well as other services related to construction safety and health will exhibit their services.
